TOEFL Writing(Integrated task)の試験対策について！サンプルフォーマットを作成してみる！

今回は前回のTOEFL Writingの対策について

フォーマットを記載したいと思います。

私自身まだ素人ですので、継続して文章は修正したり、アップデートしていきたいと思います。

Format(フォーマット)

　The reading suggests that three hypothese to expalin this situation,
but in the lecture, the professor casts doubt on these hypothese by pointing out some weakness

　To begin with, in the reading, one of the causes is that ～.  However, the lecture opposes this point because ～ . So ～ .

　Second, the reading states that ～ is another cause of the ～, because ～. On the other hand, the professor affirms that ～. Since ～.

　Finally, according to the reading, ～ . Moreover, the reading also expalins that ～. On the contrary, the lecture presents evidence that　～.
Therefore　～ .

フォーマットの説明

1文目

The reading suggests that three hypothese to expalin this situation,
but in the lecture, the professor casts doubt on these hypothese by pointing out some weakness

リーディングではこの状況を説明するために3点の仮説を主張しているが、
この講義にて、教授は3点の仮説に対して欠点を挙げることで疑問を投げかけている。

▼重要語句
pointing out:挙げる・指し示す
　ex. The pointing out another interesting difference culture,～

weakness：欠点
hypothese : hypothesis(仮説)の複数形

2文目

To begin with, in the reading, one of the causes is that ～. However, the lecture opposes this point because ～ . So ～ .

まず初めにリーディングでは原因の一つとして～であるとあるが、
しかし、講義ではその点について～理由により反対している。
だから、～である。

▼重要語句
oppose：反対する
To begin with ：まず初めに
one of the 複数系：～の一つは　(※後に続く動詞は必ず単数形)

３文目

Second, the reading states that ～ is another cause of the ～ because ～
On the other hand, the professor affirms that ～. Since ～.

2点目にリーディングでは～は別の原因の一つであると述べていおり、理由は～である。一方で教授は～を支持している。
（その理由は）～だからである。

affirm : を支持する
state：述べる
On the other hand ：一方で（直訳：もう一つの手としては）

(補足)

前回までリーディングで肯定意見であれば、リスニング(教授は)否定意見となるまたは、その逆です。と記載しましたが、

たまに、1文のみリーディングが肯定でリスニングが肯定と「同一の見解」に立つ場合があります。

その際は、どの点がリーディングでは肯定なのか？またリスニングではなぜ肯定なのかを記載するのがよいみたいです。

４文目

Finally, according to the reading, ～ . Moreover, the reading also explains that ～. On the contrary, the lecture presents evidence that ～
Therefore ～ .

最後に、リーディングによると～であるとし、さらに、リーディングではまた～のように説明している。
反対に、講義では証拠を示している(that以下で証拠の説明)。
それゆえ（つまり）、～である。

present：(問題点を人に)示す
